New Orleans, La.

— The New Orleans Pelicans are looking to keep Josh Hill as their starting point guard for at least four weeks with a sprained ankle.

Coach Monty Williams announced Hill, who was playing in his fifth game of the season Saturday night against the Philadelphia 76ers, is out for four to six weeks with the injury.

Williams said Hill had a small sprained right ankle and a contusion in his left knee and it was unknown if he would play in Sunday’s contest against the Utah Jazz.

Williams has a tough decision to make with Hill going forward.

Hill has been a key part of the Pelicans’ success, averaging 10.2 points and 3.9 assists while shooting 48.7 percent from the field and 37.2 percent from beyond the arc over the past two games.
