The US Fish and Wildlife Service has released the latest information about fishing gear imports into the country.
In a new report, the agency found that in 2017, imports from the country of Mexico increased by more than 4,000%.
The US Fish & Wildlife Service says that in 2016, imports of fish, wildlife and related items increased by almost 3,500% to nearly 7,000 tons.
The report comes after the US Fish&wilson office reported a significant increase in wildlife imports from Mexico.
The agency says it will continue to monitor the situation closely, and expects that the situation to improve in the coming weeks.
On the positive side, the report also found that US Fish is continuing to work with Mexican officials to ensure that Mexican officials do not abuse their authority to export products that have no market value to the US.
